Mark Hocking Special Vehicles (MHSV) (formerly MY Trading Japan) is an established import specialist. Mark makes regular trips to Japan every year to inspect and buy low kilometre, high grade, hard to find vehicles.

In addition, Mark has a network of trusted agents who inspect and buy vehicles on his behalf if he is not in Japan at the time. He uses only highly knowledgeable and experienced agents who have more than twenty years experience, know exactly what to look for. Mark personally has both a trade and mechanical engineering background and worked at Mitsubishi Motors Australia in SA for many years and is absolutely passionate about cars.  He also reads and speaks Japanese, a must in this business.

Mark has been on the ground both here and overseas, seeing everything first hand and has an intimate understanding of the vehicle import process.  Mark has personally imported/exported well over 1,000 vehicles. With absolute confidence, Mark can help source and import the highest quality vehicles safely, avoiding the usual problems that plague others and saving buyers thousands of dollars and often big headaches.

Mark Hocking Special Vehicles carefully control and monitor all aspects of the business right from inspecting, buying and comprehensive mechanical checks, through to the final shipping process. He believes in micro managing his operations and to his knowledge very few businesses offer such a service.

When in Japan he travels from Fukuoka in the south up to Tokyo on a weekly basis, to inspect and buy vehicles. Over the last 15 years, he has exported everything from early model Morgan’s, Caterham’s, Aston Martin’s and Bentley’s, right through to recent model highly modified Nissan GTR’s, Mazda RX7’s and Mitsubishi Evolution.
